| Synthetic Basket Hilt Guard and Pommel Set |

The Synthetic Basket Hilt Pommel and Guard Set has been specially developed to fit the Rawlings Synthetic Single Hand Sparring Sword.
The special blend of performance plastic that goes into the manufacture of these products makes them virtually indestructable.
The guard is large enough to accomodate lacrosse gloves should they need to.

Our competition standard stainless steel guard is produced in an attractive matt finish and designed to be used with any of the blades in our range.
This guard increases the weight of the Xtreme Long sword to 1112g and gives it a POB of 4". It dramatically improves the handling of the Rawlings Range swords.
This steel guard used in conjunction with the Xtreme Longsword Blade is the standard competition sword for many of the main synthetic sword tournaments.

As testament to the country of manufacture we went for an Oakeshott J1 style pommel often found on English swords. It is made from a special blend of plastic and powdered metal to increase the weight beyond what is achievable with plastic alone. The threaded brass "supertorque" insert offers much better purchase than conventional inserts allowing for a tight fit.

Our “scent stopper” pommel is classified as an Oakeshott T5 and is quite a complex object to mould. It is made from a special blend of plastic and powdered metal to increase the weight beyond what is achievable with plastic alone. The threaded brass "supertorque" insert offers much better purchase than conventional inserts allowing for a tight fit. Our Extended Pommel is twice as long as our standard scent-stopper pommels giving an extra 6.5cm of grip. This allows for the bulkiest of padded gloves and provides a lot of extra torque in the blade!

The Stainless Steel Pommels are a fantastic addition to the Pro-Line range. They are particularly good when used on a Single Hand Xtreme Blade making for a authentically weighted, fast moving sword.
When used in conjunction with an Xtreme Longsword Blade it brings the weight of the sword up to 1165g with a 1" POB.
If used in combination with Pro-Line Stainless Steel Guard it brings the weight of the sword up to 1465g with a POB at the guard.

The best of the world's sword fighters have known a simple truth for ages... if you want to become a reasonably good sword fighter you should endeavor to learn sword fighting techniques, footwork and the basic stances. However, if you want to be a master at sword fighting you have to eventually start fighting with a "live blade". In Japan the traditional method of serving tea is a celebrated art form in itself. This highly ritualized ceremony is an involved process, the most elaborate of which can last hours and is reserved for the most distinguished of guests. Our Tea Culture Daisho (SH2331, SH2332) captures the essence of this important tradition. The Katana and Wakizashi are built upon a traditional Shinogi Zukuri style blade with Bo-Hi. The high-carbon blade is hand forged and differentially hardened using the traditional clay method. The Koshirae (furniture) feature the typical elements present in a Japanese tea ceremony. The handle is wrapped with suede leather in a Katati Make (battle wrap) style.
